OUR PEOPLE

Graeme Jones

With over 35 years of experience, Graeme has a wide range of expertise in the management of local, national and international infrastructure. He is an expert project manager and has extensive experience in the development of protocols and projects for highway maintenance and operations. He is a specialist in the development of highway asset management strategy and plans, including supporting systems such as Performance Frameworks and Lifecycle Plans.

His key attribute is his ability to create effective partnerships (internally and externally) through strong and extensive networks, an affable personality and an aptitude to think for himself and encourage others to do likewise. This has proved powerful in the establishment of successful, self-motivated teams who, through succession planning with techniques such as Agile, are highly skilled. His understanding of process, appreciation of the need for clear governance and all-round grasp of technical and contractual matters means he is also able take complex issues and present these to his peers and colleagues in concise, manageable ways. This allows key issues such as risk to be considered and accounted for on Lean principles when developing alternative and innovative commercial solutions.

Christine Caridi-Jones

Christine was born and educated in the Chicago area in the US.  She has recently lived and worked as a teacher in India and Cambodia and is now permanently living in England with her husband Graeme. Christine is a trained, qualified and experienced investigator, counsellor, teacher,  and non-profit executive.

After a 20+ year career as contract administrator and investigator for the federal, state and local governments, in 2006 she founded a still thriving, alternative food bank called Food Thing Network. Through policy creation, volunteer mobilization and training courses, trained volunteers distribute high quality perishable food to people in need in 4 different locations each week.  As the CEO of Food Thing’s parent organization, New Community Counselling, Christine leads a “zoom” support group for cancer patients and their carers across the UK called “CCASH “ or Cancer Cure Advocates Self-Help group

Her key attribute is the empathy that she develops with her colleagues and clients, able to initially appreciate the personal challenges they face and then objectively develop client lead, solution focused programmes. As a natural leader, she assimilates powerful teams that are fully engaged and committed to achieve their personal and organisational goals. This is clearly demonstrated by the ongoing success of the non-profit food distribution charity that she founded in 2009 or the growing self-help group that she created and manages for fellow cancer patients looking for natural, long-lasting treatments.
